Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Albuquerque, NM

Look for more information on the start of this class later this summer.  The book used for the class is entitled Gateways to Worship: A Year of Worship Experiences for Young Children by Carolyn C . Brown.

Shepherd of the Valley Preschool is a mission outreach of the church. The school origin is a Mom's Day Out Program, which transitioned to a Montessori School. In 1984 a Director was hired and the church Session approved and a week long schedule with a new philosophy. The present staff consists of three Co-Directors, and two Teacher's Assistants. 42 children are currently enrolled.

The playground has under-gone a major renovation and the school has acquired new equipment.The preschool is governed by a board consisting of preschool staff, parents, a Preschool Elder, and the Pastor.
